Cave Rodeo Excursion

Something special for experienced divers. There is a world here in the Dominican Republic untouched and unique. The caves Pade Nuestra and La Sirena. The Pelicano-Diveteam organises excursions to this beautiful places with small groups and on special request.
 

There is one dive in Padre Nuestro and 2 dives in La Sirena which is in the ranking of the ten best dive-spots in the world. The Padre Nuestro cave is situated on the Caribbean side of the island in Bayahibe, in a bizarre lime stone landscape in the middle of the jungle.

It is unique because of it enormous proportions and its exceptional lime stone architecture. The adventurous entry starts over 33yards or 30 meters into a huge grotto with clear 78°F or 26°C warm water, big and small stalactites and stalagmites and bizarre rock formations .Different layers of salty seawater and fresh water at deeper spots give you a breathtaking trip through a cathedral inside our planet.

Then we have a 2 hour drive to La Sirena where you will have 2 unforgettable dives. This fabulous cave, most likely unique in the world, provides everything you expect from diving in drip stone and fresh water caves. Located in a private fruit orchard, the “La Sirena” cave offers clear warm water, crystals glittering on walls, ceilings like sugar icing ,limestone creations out of a fairytale and thousands of stalactites and stalagmites and many sites to come up to explore this underwater paradise. This unique grotto is a breathtaking experience for everyone. On special request we can stay till the next day in the south of the Dominican Republic in the town of Boca Chica in a small guesthouse.

A special remark is that the founder and explorer of the La Sirena cave, mr. Peter Lorenz with more than 18years of dive-experience, will be your private guide, better is not possible!
