Saona VIP Excursion

The Saona VIP Excursion is a snorkel adventure in the Caribbean Sea with high standard and service to one of the most beautiful private beaches of Isla Saona. Our host picks you up in your hotel and in an air-conditioned bus we drive you through the scenic landscape of the Province of Altagracia and the capital town of Higuey with its famous basilica.


On the Caribbean shore the crew of the speedboat-catamaran will welcome you aboard. After a short briefing we head to our first snorkel site: the rocky and sandy underground is the scenery for watching fantastic tropical fish like Trumpet fish, Parrot fish, Sergeant Major and plentiful hard corals and sponges which we are able to explore in crystal clear waters. Further on we are following the coral coast of the National Park to a place called El Tiringo, the natural environment for breeding of the majestic stingray and American eagle ray.


Colorful soft corals in a great variety give shelter for also the smaller fish and are an exciting aquatic life to witness. There is plenty of time to snorkel, explore and enjoy. At lunchtime we reach the breathtaking private beach of Vela Blanca, a nice exclusive area with white sandy beaches enclosed by untouched palm trees – a Caribbean paradise. After a welcome drink at the bar cozy beach beds with a wonderful view of the turquoise sea are inviting you to relax under the palm trees. An exquisite 3 course menu is served with tasty rice, fresh fish, delicious lobster and exotic fruits.



After a pleasant “siesta” we continue along with the speedboat-catamaran to the natural pool of Pamilla where a delightful and refreshing bath awaits you in shallow turquoise waters, watching amazing sea stars and sipping a Cuba Libre or Santo Libre before we go back to Bayahibe. On the bus drive back to Bavaro we unwind from an unforgettable day in the Caribbean Paradise of the DR.
