How do I learn to scuba dive?
Learning to scuba dive is simpler and more achievable than most people think.

1) Choose your starting point

2) Learn the basics + practice skills

Learn to dive in the Caribbean
If you’re learning to scuba dive for a trip, the Caribbean is a great place to start. Punta Cana is popular because it’s warm, tropical, and beginner-friendly. It’s perfect for reefs, clear water, and a true vacation plus bucket-list moment.
How long does it take to learn to dive?
If you’re just curious and want to get a feel for it, our beginner scuba experience (DSD) takes about 4 to 5 hours. If you’re ready to get certified, the Scuba Diver course is usually around two days. And if you want the full beginner certification, Open Water Diver typically takes a few days, depending on the schedule and conditions.
How hard is it to learn to scuba?
Easier than you think. You don’t need to be super fit. You just need basic comfort in the water, willingness to learn a few simple skills, and a calm, supportive instructor. You’ll practice step by step in controlled conditions, so confidence builds fast.
